Hello, and Welcome! Melody Thomas, M.H., C.M.T., M.M.P., Owner of Superlative Health LLC , has been a Functional Health Care Practitioner for almost two decades, combining the best of Functional Medicine, Medical Massage, Structural Integrity with the natural healing wisdom of fresh, raw foods and herbs.
As a Functional Health Care Practitioner, the concept of using one form of therapy to treat every client who presents with a certain problem has not proven productive. A cookie-cutter model may work for baking, but not for the the inherent complexities of human function and dysfunction.
Instead of choosing one method over another, I have been licensed and certified in Medical Massage, which incorporates a broad multidisciplinary model that emphasizes a more holistic approach to rehabilitation. Certifications include Myofascial release, Neuromusular Therapy, Medical Massage Therapy, Myoskeletal Therapy, Swedish Massage and Reflexology.
With 1,194 hours of study & 71 credits to become a Master Herbalist, member of the American Herbalists Guild, and Nutritional Herbologist, with certifications from Cornell University in Plant based Nutrition and Egoscue University in Posture Alignment Therapy, Nutritional Endocrinology, Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis and Meridian Stress Analysis (Qest4), is helping clients restore balance, all to create a vibrant life filled with passion and purpose. She serves clients locally in her clinic, as well as Nationally and Internationally by phone and video chat.
More About Melody
Melody Thomas always had a passion and a love for health, but it was readily increased when her oldest daughter, Melissa was diagnosed with doctor induced Chrons Disease. Determining to use real raw foods and herbal medicines, Melody used her knowledge with her daughter and saw in front of her eyes a miracle take place. Since then she has gone on to get many accomplished certifications in many areas of expertise, as a Traditional Naturopath. With over 2,000 clients and patients, Melody has taken her powerful, yet practical applications with her family and applies them to each one of her clients, with a bit of practitioner/mother teacher sprinkled throughout.
Melody Thomas has been married to her best friend for three decades with 5 beautiful children and celebrates the life of so far, 11 wonderful grandchildren.
